Max hat eine Reise gebucht und freut sich auf seinen wohlverdienten Urlaub
Max bucht einen Flug oder eine Pauschalreise zu einem Tarif mit hohen Stornierungsgebühren / nicht stornierbaren Tarif. Er macht sich hierzu allerdings keinerlei Gedanken mehr und zählt die Tage zur Abreise.
Aus dem Anbeten der Sonne wird wohl doch nichts...
Die Koffer bleiben am Boden, der Flieger hebt ohne ihn ab... Max ist kurz vor Abreise erkrankt / die Pläne haben sich geändert oder Max hat auf Grund von Sicherheitsbedenken (Corona-Virus, Sicherheitslage im Land, etc.) selbst storniert. Umbuchen konnte Max lt. Anbieter nicht mehr und eine Reiserücktrittsversicherung hat er auch nicht / diese greift nicht.

Auch nach stundenlangen Telefonaten mit Call-Centern bleibt ihm lediglich die Stornierung mit einer Gebühr von 20 % bis zu 100 %. Zudem erklären ihm die Mitarbeiter, dass Max die AGB-Bedingungen doch in der Form schriftlich akzeptiert habe. Einen Anwalt will Max aufgrund hoher Kosten nicht einschalten.
Max sucht verzweifelt nach einer Lösung und findet NoShow
Darf der Reiseveranstalter überhaupt so hohe Kosten veranschlagen? Max hat storniert, keinerlei Gegenleistung erhalten und eine hohe Summe bezahlen müssen, für die er lange gespart hat. Völlig demotiviert recherchiert Max im Internet und findet einige Fluggastrechteportale. Diese helfen lediglich bei Flugverspätungen / -ausfällen. Leider bietet keiner dieser Anbieter eine Lösung für Max‘ Problem. Aber siehe da, er findet "NoShow"! Max ist bereit für seinen Urlaub
Max steht sitzt auf seinen gepackten Koffern am Flughafen und zählt die Minuten bis zum Abflug. Sonne, Strand, gutes Essen, die Vielfalt der Aktivitäten und Sehenswürdigkeiten....Max träumt vor sich hin.

Flug IB123 hat eine Verspätung, der geplante Abflug wird sich wahrscheinlich um 2 h verzögern. Nähere Gründe werden nicht genannt. Am Schalter abgewimmelt, jeder Mitarbeiter hat einen anderen Grund für die Verspätung genannt. Max kommt nun allerdings mit einer Verspätung von über 3 h an seinem Zielflughafen an!
